Two Elkmont "Class of 2005" graduates received American FFA Degrees in Indianapolis, IN on Saturday, October 27th, 2007. Ben Maples and Clay Usery received these honors during the National FFA Convention. These degrees are the highest level that can be achieved as an FFA member. Ben and Clay were two of only twelve FFA members from Alabama on which these degrees were conferred. For highlights of the convention, see the FFA National Organization website.
Michael Boley (2000) is currently ranked 2nd in tackles in the NFL. Michael Boley, continues to make the news as he plays with the Atlanta Falcons. For a recent article in The Decatur Daily, click here Wesley Summers, 2003, is making news at the University of Mobile where he is president of UM's Association for Computing Machinery. Will Hickman, 2000, is the Technical Directing Intern for four one-act plays by Samuel Beckett being produced at the New York Theatre Workshop this fall.
