Most experts in the field of education accept that there are three basic learning styles:  visual, auditory, and kinesthetic.  To learn, we depend on our senses to process much of the information around us, and most people tend to rely or mone of their senses more than the others.  The University of South Dakota website has an interesting inventory to help you identify your child's learning style.    Knowing your child's learning style can help you help him or her determine the best way to study and to get the most from his or her education.
